Houston, TX — On June 9, 2025, Baker Hughes Inc. (Nasdaq: BKR) announced the sale of its Precision Sensors & Instrumentation (PSI) product line to Connecticut-based Crane Co. (NYSE: CR) for $1.15 billion.
The Details:
PSI is part of Baker Hughes’ Industrial & Energy Technology segment and employs approximately 1,600 people across global manufacturing and service facilities.
The unit manufactures sensor-based technologies under the Druck, Panametrics, and Reuter-Stokes brands for industries including aerospace, nuclear, and water management.
Crane Co. will acquire all PSI assets, including intellectual property and resources, with 2025 sales projected at $390 million and adjusted EBITDA at $60 million.
The deal follows Baker Hughes’ announcement last week of selling a 65% stake in its surface pressure control business to Cactus Inc. (NYSE: WHD) for $344.5 million, expected to close in the second half of 2025.
